Consultations are by appointment only which are made by calling 053 91 22581. We do not operate a walk in service. However, an exception may be made in emergency circumstances.
Upon ringing to make an appointment you will be asked to explain briefly the nature of your illness. This is to help us triage your call so that your doctor or nurse can be made aware in advance of your attendance and the reason for your visit.
We cannot guarantee that appointments will run to schedule or that you will always see your preferred Doctor but we will do our very best to try and accommodate you.
We aim to see our patients as near as possible to their appointment time. However medical emergencies may take priority which can lead to delays. In such circumstances we request that you remain patient with us.
Patients are requested to ring prior to entering the surgery to check in.
It may not always be possible to see patients who arrive late for their appointments. In the event that you may be running late, we request that you ring the surgery to inform us.
House calls are not routine practice, however under exceptional circumstances, will be decided by the Doctor on call.
If you need to cancel an appointment for whatever reason, we ask that you ring the surgery to inform us. Even at short notice, we can try to allocate your appointment time to someone else.
If you are entering the surgery, please wear a facemask covering your mouth and nose at all times. The use of a face visor is only permitted if worn along with a face covering.
Two working days notice is required for all routine prescriptions. Your prescription will be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy.
Medical records are held in the strictest confidence. We are a computerised surgery and we comply and adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation.
All our staff members have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. Aggressive language or behaviour towards any member of staff is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
